EC-Earth3

EC-Earth3 is the third generation of the model and is also the name of the basic standard-resolution atmosphere-ocean physical model configuration. In total, there are eight different EC-Earth3 configurations, which are used for different science applications. These are the configurations with which the EC-Earth consortium has contributed to the Climate Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP6).
