The EC-Earth consortium participates in CMIP7 with the EC-Earth3-ESM-1-1 configuration (Döscher et al. (2022) and XXX et al. 2026, in prep.). With EC-Earth3-ESM-1-1 the EC-Earth consortium will contribute at least to CMIP7 AFT Core MIP and ScenarioMIP. EC-Earth3-ESM-1-1 has been registered for CMIP7 in EMD. The first CMIP7 AFT experiment members run with EC-Earth3-ESM-1-1 have been published on the ESGF-NG.
