Dates & Place
The 2026 EC-Earth General Assembly will take place at Barcelona Supercomputing Center, form Monday 8 June (early afternoon) until Wednesday 10 June afternoon. On Thursday morning 11 June, an EC-Earth Clinic session may be organized depending on interest. The meeting will take place in a hybrid mode.

Program
The main topics which will be discussed during the GA 2026:

1. CMIP7 Fast Track
2. First CMIP7 results from EC-Earth3-ESM
3. EC-Earth4

We encourage participants to give presentations on – but not limited to – these topics, however contributions related to the main topics listed above will be given priority if maximum capacity is reached. The program will include invited speakers, breakout groups, and practical workshops. The detailed EC Earth GA 2026 PROGRAM will be shared soon.

Registration
Due to limited venue capacity, registration is initially open only to participants from EC-Earth consortium institutes. If registrations exceed capacity, attendance may need to be limited. However, we will ensure that all member institutes are represented. The registration is open until 30 April 2026.

The campus where BSC is located is well connected to Barcelona city center. You can find practical information and a list of nearby hotels in the Barcelona Logistics Information. Please note that we list only hotels close to BSC, but any accommodation near a metro station will also be convenient.
